Education council New Zealand | Matatū Aotearoa

Are you a provisionally certificated teacher (PCT) looking to progress to full certification?

12/09/18

The Education Council recently launched a new induction and mentoring programme, Tuakana Teina, which pairs experienced mentor teachers with provisionally certificated teachers (PCTs) who are unable to find a mentor at their own school or centre.

The aim of the initiative is to support PCTs towards full certification, where they may otherwise be unable to do so.

PCTs will receive support from a qualified mentor who will work with PCTs in their educational setting, at times that suit them.

Go to the Education Council website to find out more details, complete an application form, or email mentoring@educationcouncil.org.nz to lodge your interest in the Tuakana Teina programme.
