Review questions you may consider for your school community
Read through each teacher action promoted in the NZC under effective pedagogy:
- Which of the seven approaches can we justifiably say are deeply embedded practice?
- Which approaches do we need to work on as we design and review our curriculum in response to students' needs?
- How does learning with digital technologies support these teaching approaches?
- How do we inquire into the impact of our teaching on student learning?
Self review tools
e-Learning Planning Framework
The e-Learning Planning Framework (eLPF) is a tool that enables schools to identify where they are in terms of e-learning capability, and plan their next step. Phases of the eLPF describe pedagogical development and technology integration. The framework provides schools and teachers with:
- a self-review tool for schools to gather evidence about practice
- a 'road map' for building e-learning capability
- a tool to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning programmes
- resources and services to support schools as they build capability.
