Revision of the environmental education guidelines

Submissions are now open for comment on the proposed revision of the Guidelines for Environmental Education for New Zealand Schools.
Read the position paper that has been drafted to prompt thinking about the revision. This is available in full or summary form, along with a comment submission form.
There are scheduled discussion meetings in Auckland (7 November), Hamilton (15 November), Wellington (15 November), Christchurch (21 November) and Dunedin (5 December).
Whether or not you can attend one of these meetings, we would strongly encourage you to have your say using the online submission form. We realise this is a difficult time of year to ask for your input, but very much welcome your involvement in this process and look forward to your contribution.
Please pass this message on to others and particularly urge interested teachers and their students to have an input so their voices can be heard. All feedback will be used to inform a brief that will guide the development of new Guidelines. Any enquiries to Chris Eames.
