Kōrero Mātauranga - Let's talk about education

What would you do if you were the boss of education in NZ? You have the chance to have your say on the future of New Zealand education, for all our children and young people.

The Minister of Education Chris Hipkins wants to hear from a wide range of New Zealanders about the education system of the future.

Everyone with an interest in New Zealand education is invited to complete an online survey.

Two summit events will be held, one in Christchurch (5 and 6 May) and one in Auckland (12 and 13 May). The Minister will be inviting people who represent the wide cross-section of New Zealanders that he wants to hear from.

After the summit, there will be a series of regional opportunities, hui and fono - timings of these to be confirmed. These will enable communities to carry on the conversation and the sharing of ideas at a local level.
